Reading the The Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss
I bought this book a year or so ago and read it but never put the author’s teachings and methods into practice. I found it very interesting to have read that most of us will do a lot more under pressure than if we have a long amount of time to take care of a task. For example, many of us will have a task to perform which we may have been given at the beginning of the work day. Given that work day may have 7.5 to 8 hours, assuming you work full-time, you will postpone the task for sometime during the day. Had we been given an hour, you would have done it in an hour. Why not take advantage of the work hours and get as much done to free yourself up to do others things you really want to do?
Given this example, the idea of getting through life in this lax manner, may not get you anywhere in life. However, committing yourself to results and going for what you really want, may turn around your titanic like life.
